Nitya welcomes Kashvi home by carrying out her grihapravesh ceremony. Stepping into the room on the vermilion water is Kashvi. Arjun laments the loss of Mahima. Rituals following the wedding of Arjun and Kashvi begin. They engage in ritual ring-finding. Arjun thinks of Mahima while grinning and grasping Kashvi’s hand. Kashvi asks Arjun why he is grinning after she wins the game. She understands that he is picturing Mahima in her. Arjun advises him not to consider Mahima at this time. The relatives of Arjun leave him and Kashvi in a beautifully decorated room and make fun of him for not enjoying his first night.
Arjun informs Kashvi tensely that he never imagined they would find themselves in this predicament. They ought to celebrate their suhagraat, advises Kashvi.
