Anupama Written Update:
Choti Anu/CA tells Vanraj that she came to the school without telling anyone because she thought her mother had left her for good, but her mother found her here. Anuj helps Anupama and takes her along. Anupama reads a poem in which she says that her family and being a mother are more important than her dreams and that she had to go back for them. She stares through a window.
He asks her what she is looking at. Anupama prays god for Maaya’s mukti with a long conversation. Anuj says nobody is there. Barkha panics seeing Anupama and CA’s pic and says Anupama is back. Anuj thinks in the car about why she came back, how Gurumaa let her go, and what will happen now. The talk with Malti Devi is played on FM. Anupama calls Gurumaa.
Gurumaa dances furiously as she remembers Anupama’s promise to be her loyal student forever and to never do anything that would make her regret her choice. Anupama made trouble in flight and got out of it, which made Gurumaa angry. She thinks has told her what to do many times, but Anupama did what she shouldn’t have. A guru’s gifts can make or break a person’s life. Anupama thinks that guru is god, so she didn’t listen to gurumaa.
Barkha tells Ankush that she can’t believe Anupama made such a big mistake just for her daughter. Ankush says she doesn’t know how a mother feels. Barkha sees Shahs walk in and says that trashy people came to make a scene. Toshu says that they came here after getting a call from Vanraj. Leela tries to figure out what happened there. Kinjal is afraid of what Malati Devi will do. Gurumaa sends a message to Nakul to find out where Anupama is and set up a time to talk to her.
Anupama goes back home with Anuj, Vanraj, and CA. Kavya asks CA why she left home without telling anyone, since everyone was worried about her. CA says they’re sorry for making them upset. Kavya tells her it’s fine and tells her to go clean up. CA asks Anupama if she’ll leave her alone again. Anupama says that she will never leave her again.
Leela tries to get Anupama’s attention. Anupama stops her, walks over to Maaya’s picture, and tells her not to worry about CA because her Yashoda maiya is back. She swears on a lamp fire that she will never leave CA alone and will always be with her. She tells everyone that they all have a lot of questions for her, but for now she wants to live alone. She should, says Hasmukh. Anupama leaves.
Barkha and the others ask Vanraj and Anuj why Anupama went back to the shelter and how she got there. Anuj says they don’t know for sure because he tried to call Malati Devi and she didn’t answer. Toshu says Gurumaa must be angry and plans to take legal action against Anupama.
Hasmukh says that gurumaa will know how a mother feels. Leela says that Malti Devi is very dangerous. She says that just like they won’t let anyone hurt their family, Malti Devi won’t let anyone hurt her art. Gurumaa burns everything that has to do with Anupama. Anupama thinks about the promises she made to Gurumaa and what has happened recently and says, “Sorry, sorry, sorry.”
Leela asks Anuj if he talked to Anupama about CA’s health by phone. Vanraj says that he didn’t, because if he had, he wouldn’t have been surprised to see Anupama at a shelter. Kinjal says that Anupama changed her mind because she was afraid about CA. Dimpy says that Anupama might not have wanted to leave at all, since she only wanted to leave because of Maya, and now that Maya is dead, she is back. Leela asks her why she always has bad things to say.
Dimpy says that what she is saying is true. Hasmukh tells them to stop, and he tells Anuj to go see Anupama. Anuj walks to Anupama. She gives him a hug and starts to cry. Leela sees Vanraj tensed. Vanraj says that Anupama made a mistake by coming back because they would have taken care of CA even if she hadn’t been there. The last time, they stopped her from achieving her goals, but this time, being a mother stopped her.
Anuj gives Anupama water. Anupama says that she couldn’t have faced Maaya if she had gone. She talks about how important a child is to a mother and how a child’s tears and happiness are more important than a mother’s dream, etc., and she says that a mother would understand her decision whether anyone else does or not. She goes on with her talk.
Anuj says that because of her, people have high respect for mothers, but what about a mother’s dream? She would have broken gurumaa’s goals. Anupama feels bad. Gurumaa says that Anupama has totally broken her, and she plans to kill Anupama.
In short, the power goes out. Leela says there might be a storm. Vanraj wants to know why Anupama came back. Anupama does her best to explain. Gurumaa enters. Anupama puts her hands on her feet and calls her gurumaa. Gurumaa hits her and tells her that she is no longer her teacher or mother.
