Delighted by the huge success of Mubarakan, Arjun Kapoor is ready for his next project, the YRF venture ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar’. The shooting of this film has begun which will hit the floors on 3 August 2018. The film also marks the return of Ishaqzaade couple Arjun and Parineeti Chopra. Arjun Kapoor will play the role of a 30-year-old police officer from Delhi Police’s special unit named Satinder Dahiya. Dibakar Banerjee is the director of the film and Arjun looks a bold policeman in the recently released first image of the film.
Arjun Kapoor has spent a lot of time prepping for this role under the supervision of the director. Since this is his first role as a cop, he met the staff of Delhi and Haryana police and also visited a police training academy to witness all that is required to become a heartland cop.
Talking about this different sort of role in the film, Arjun said that playing the role of a cop is generally considered cool in Hindi films but in ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar’, a police constable is featured as a realistic and a unique person. The script of the film makes this role more exciting. The director is very specific about the look of his characters so we both worked for a long time for the desired look. Arjun told right from my mustache, haircut, and freckles on my face were examined to suit the environment the director wants. He is eager to go the first day of the film shoot.
Earlier, Arjun and Shraddha Kapoor have shown their dancing skills in the film Half Girlfriend.
