Birthday Bash for Shahrukh Khan-Baadshah of Bollywood

Shah Rukh Khan, also known as King Khan, turns 52 on 2 November 1965. We all wish Khan Sahab many many happy returns of the day.


Born on 2 November 1965, he is one of the most successful film stars in the world and is currently the highest paid actor of Bollywood. He has acted in more than 80 films and won several awards, including 14 Filmfare Awards. SRK ‘s father had many business ventures including a restaurant in Delhi. His father died in 1981 and his mother Lateef Fatima expired in 1991.

Khan did his schooling at St. Columba’s School in central Delhi. He showed his brilliant performance in studies as well as in sports and got the Sword of Honour award by the school. SRK’s acting skills began to showcase right from his youth when he got an appreciation for his imitations of Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar.

Shahrukh made his television debut in 1989 with the serial Fauji that caught the attention of filmmakers. Khan made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with the film Deewana that became a box-office hit and he also won the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award.

In 1993, he got a lot of popularity by playing villainous roles in super-hit movies a preoccupied lover in Darr and a murderer in Baazigar. His use of the phrase “I love you, K-kk-Kiran” made the audience crazy about him.

Khan played the title role of a rebellious alcoholic opposite Aishwarya Rai in a period romantic film ‘Devdas’ for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

In 2015, Shahrukh and his wife Gauri Khan set up their own production company called Red Chillies Entertainment.

SRK is really a very nice and kind man. He got UNESCO’s Pyramide con Marni award in 2011 for his charitable commitment to provide education for children.
