Superstar Rajinikanth is confident that the upcoming sci-fi thriller film ‘2.0’ will be the most prominent Indian film up till yet. Rajinikanth who has turned 66, told reporters at a press conference in Dubai that the film will have a worldwide impact on both Indian and global audiences. Famous musician AR Rahman will give a live performance at the event.
2.0 is the first Indian film which is directly shot in 3D and will be released worldwide on 25 January 2018. The film will be shown in 15 languages including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions. With an estimated mega budget of Rs. 450 crore, it is also the most costly Indian film made till date.
The movie is a sequel to the Shankar’s directed blockbuster Tamil film Enthiran (2010).
Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson are in the lead roles. Rajinikanth has played the role of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, while Akshay Kumar has played the role of Dr. Richard. Sudhanshu Pandey appears as Bohra Junior while the other stars are Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Riyaz Khan.
A huge stage is being prepared in Dubai for the grand audio release sci-fi film 2.0. The team of ‘2.0’ along with director Shankar and producer Allirajah Subaskaran were present at the event. Akshay Kumar told that he has never done such role in his film career so it is totally a different experience working in ‘2.0’. Akshay is excited to play a villainous role. He also said that the director is also a scientist with a grand vision.
The high-tech stage with radiant colors at Dubai’s Burj Park is near the world famous Burj Khalifa. Before the audio launch, the tallest building in the world was set alight with the 2.0 projecting the stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.
Many superheroes of Indian cinema like Kamal Haasan and Dhanush have already reached Dubai and the king of Dubai will also be present at this mega event. A VIP table at the event has cost Rs. 6 lakh and the producers have also given out 12,000 free passes for the event.
