On Friday, the Panchkula court had found Gurmeet Ram Rahim guilty of raping his two female followers in the year 2002. The court will finally decide the punishment on Monday. After the court’s decision, hundreds of Dera followers protested against the court’s decision and turned violent by taking law in their hands. Earlier, the Dera chief had denied these charges in court and lied that he is not capable of involving in any sexual relationship.
Eleven people were killed and several others were injured in Panchkula due to these violent protests. So security arrangements have been tightened in Sirsa and besides police, ten companies of paramilitary forces have deployed in sensitive areas. The administration has imposed section 144 in Sirsa and police has seized many wooden sticks/lathis from vehicles during routine checking.
Here is the reaction of B-Town on this matter. The Bollywood celebrities condemned the nonsense and violent protests by Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s followers and appreciated the court’s decision about the rape case.
Violence is what #GurmeetRamRahimSingh seems to have taught his followers. This is nonsense & Govt. needs to use full force to STOP it NOW.

1. Arrest MSG.
2. Arrest his violent followers.
3. Put them all in the same jail.
4. Film it weekly.
5. Show it to his other followers.

After cost of human lives is counted, must ask how one man became a God to so many, yet to most of us a fraudulent rapist? #RamRahimSingh
