[1] Aarthi Agarwal

Aarthi Agarwal was an Indian actress who primarily worked in Tollywood. She was born on 5 March 1984 in New Jersey and died at the age of 31 on 6 June 2015 in Atlantic City.  Agarwal married a US-based Indian software engineer named Travel Kumar in 2007 but the pair divorced in 2009. Aarthi had serious breathing problems so she was hospitalized at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in 2015. She died due to cardiac arrest.

Aarthi made her Bollywood debut in 2001 with the film Paagalpan. She made Tollywood debut in the same year with the movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav. Her last Telugu film in 2015 was Ranma 2.

 [2] Jiah Khan

Jiah Khan was a British-American actress who was born on 20 February 1988 in New York City. She came to Mumbai to pursue her acting career. Khan has acted in three Hindi films which are Nishabd (2007), Ghajini (2008), and Housefull (2010).  She was also playback singer for the song “Take Lite” in her debut movie.

Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi had a live-in relationship with Jiah. Jiah committed a suicide on 3 June 2013 by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house in Juhu. Sooraj Pancholi was arrested for provoking Khan for suicide but CBI finally ruled out murder in the case taken to the High Court.

Divya Bharti was a hot Indian actress born on 25 February 1974 in Mumbai. Divya married filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala at the age of 18. She died a year later on after falling from the balcony of her fifth-floor apartment at Tulsi Buildings in Versova, Mumbai. She was a rising face in Bollywood at that time and her death shocked the entire film industry.

Bharti made her debut in Telugu cinema at the age of 16 with the film Bobbili Raja (1990).  She co-starred Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, and Raveena Tandon in the 1993 Hindi film Kshatriya. Bharti died seven days after the release of Kshatriya.

Born on 17 October 1958 in Pune, Smita Patil was another famous name in Indian film industry. This Bollywood actress won two National Film Awards and a Filmfare Award.  She was also honored with Padma Shri in 1985.

Smita married   Raj Babbar and gave birth to a son name Prateik Babbar. She died two weeks after the birth of Prateik on 13 December 1986 because of childbirth complications. Some of her notable performances are in the Bollywood movies Bhumika(1977), Chakra (1981), and Mirch Masala(1985). Patil portrayed the character of Tulsi in her last Hindi film Galiyon Ka Badshah that was released in 1989.

Taruni Sachdev was a model and a child actress born on 14 May 1988 in Mumbai. She died at the age of 14 in a plane crash in Nepal on her 14th birthday. Big B was shocked by the news of Taruni’s death and he expressed prayers for her.

Taruni has appeared in TV advertisements for brands like Colgate, Reliance Mobile, LG, Shakti Masala etc.  She played the role of a student in the 2009 Hindi film ‘Paa’ co-starring with Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, and Abhishek Bachchan. Sachdev played the role of a child ghost in the Malayalam movie Vellinakshatram (2004).

Madhubala was a beautiful Indian actress who passed away at the age of 36 on 23 February 1969 in Mumbai due to sickness. She is well known for playing the brilliant role of Anarkali in the 1960 epic historical drama film Mughal-E-Azam. This legendary role is regarded as “The Beauty with Tragedy” that had a sound impact on the viewers and the songs of this film are among some of the best Bollywood songs.

Madhubala was the Spouse of renowned actor and playback singer late Kishore Kumar. Some of her notable movies are Mr. & Mrs. ’55 (1955), Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958), and Barsaat Ki Raat (1960). Jwala was her last film that was shot in the 1950s but released in 1971.

Born on 1 August 1933, Meena Kumari was among famous Bollywood stars during 1939 to 1972. During her acting career, she got addicted to alcohol that had an adverse effect on her liver. Kumari fell ill and so admitted to St Elizabeth’s Nursing Home where she was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. She took her last breath on 31 March 1972 at the age of 38.

Meena Kumari married Kamal Amrohi filmmaker in 1952. She was also a good singer and poet called Cinderella of the Indian films. Some of her notable Bollywood movies in 1972 are ‘Dushman’ and    ‘Pakeezah’.

Silk Smitha was a hot Indian actress born on 2 December 1960 in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. She had mainly worked for South Indian movies and came in limelight for her role as ‘Silk’ in the  Tamil film side actress and first got noticed for her role as “Silk” in the Tamil film Vandichakkaram(1979).

Smitha became a major sex symbol and one of the most popular female celebrities major sex symbol of India in the 1980s. She was found dead in her Chennai house on 23 23 September 1996. The cause of her death is suicide as she was depressed over her debt accumulated from producing films.

Born on 18 July 1972 in Karnataka, Soundarya Raghu was a leading actress of Telugu cinema from 1992 to 2004. She had also acted in a Hindi film Sooryavansham (1999). On 17 April 2004, Raghu was traveling in an airplane heading to Andhra Pradesh where she had to campaign for BJP. Unfortunately, the plane crashed near Bangalore and she died. At that time, her film career was on peak.

She is the winner of National Film Award for Best Feature Film as a producer in 2002 for the Kannada movie Dweepa. Some of her super-hit Telugu movies are Ammoru (1994), Anthapuram (1998) and   Raja (1999).

Born on 1 January 1976 in West Bengal, Kuljeet Randhawa was a model and a TV actress. She is famous for playing the role of bold women-centric characters. Randhawa got recognition for her acting in the TV series like ‘C.A.T.S.’, ‘Special Squad’ and ‘Kohinoor’. Kuljeet did many modeling assignments for brands such as Anchor Switches, Maggi, and Recova. She has also appeared in a cameo role in TV shows like ‘Ghar Ek Mandir’, and ‘Kambhkht Ishq’.

Kuljeet committed a suicide at the age of 28 by hanging herself in her Juhu apartment. Randhawa wrote in a suicide note that she was unable to tackle life’s pressures.
